From the Ring car-park, turn left at the roundabout and drive through
Nurburg to the T-junction. Turn right, towards Blankenheim/Aachen. Take
the 3rd left towards Müllenbach. After about 2k, turn right towards
Kelberg/Cochem. At the T-junction, turn left towards Cochem. You are now
on the B257. Straight on at the first set of lights, still towards Cochem.
Stay on the main road, driving past Ulmen. You are now on the B259. The
hotel is on the right hand side of the B259, next to a garage. Total distance,
24k.

We are natural born 'Ringers' and pilgrimming to the 'Green Hell' for many years. In December 2004, we got the chance to rent the Altes Forsthaus, located directly under the Nurburg, and only 400m away from the Nordschleife entrance. We took this chance, invested, and renovated. Our services range from 'Just pop in and have a beer' to complete team assistance in the endurance championship, including 24-hour race with race car, pit crew, team hospitality and catering. We are hopelessly infected by the Ring-virus and always wanted to have a place at the Nordschleife where we can have good food and drinks, where our cars can be serviced after the training, where are modern cosy rooms to rest, and where we can exchange experience with other Ringers. The place, as we imagined it, didn't exist - so we (re)invented it! If you should have a problem with your car or bike while there, be sure that we can fix it. During 24h race 2005, a badly damaged race car was rebuilt in our garage between Friday's training session and the race start on Saturday ;-) The Ringhaus - Home of Mungo Racing!

next to the second entrance to the racetrack.
Every holiday apartment
has its own garage to keep your vehicle in
safely throughout the year, and to get German insurance.
All apartments are
fully furnished, carpeted and wall-papered, and
include phone, internet and satellite TV. Bathrooms are tiled in white
and include modern fittings from prestige manufacturers. Each
bathroom provides a shower, WC and washbasin.
We care of all the
formalities. To provide maintenance and repairs,
for the future there will be a small monthly payment on account
which also includes property management.
It will be possible
to offer your apartment for rent during your
absence. If you wish, Edgar Mathey, manager of the Hotel An Der
Nordschleife and sales coordinator of the holiday apartments, will
manage the renting of your apartment to other Ring visitors. Rental
income will be transfered monthly to your bank account in
Germany. This can cover a large part of the costs of ownership.

Right out of car park, continue to T-junction. Left there and head down the twisty little road (watch the hairpin bends!) until the road comes out into the open.
