Ringers stickers are a good way to recognise fellow Ringers in the car-park - or on the M25. :-)

There are three different stickers available ...

If you want a sticker to leave in place all the time, you have a choice of white or black adhesive stickers. These attach to the outside of your car or bike, and can be applied to either bodywork or glass.

The adhesive stickers are the lettering and graphics alone (ie. no background colour), so obviously use a white one on a dark car/bike and a black one on a light car/bike. The top photo is the black adhesive sticker (lettering stuck to a piece of paper). The white one is identical except that it's, er, white. :-)

If you want a sticker which you'll use only at the Ring, and remove between trips, then the re-usable static-cling sticker is the one for you. These adhere to the inside of a window, and can be removed and reapplied many times. The static-cling sticker is green on a white background.

Applying the stickers

To apply the adhesive stickers, clean and dry the surface first. Remove the backing paper. Starting from one end, apply firm pressure as you press it against the surface. Make sure all the letters are firmly applied. Then carefully and slowly peel away the transparent front, folding it back on itself as you roll it off, so as not to lift any of the lettering.

To apply the static-cling stickers, ensure the window is clean and dry, wet the window side of the sticker slightly and then press into place, starting at one side. If necessary, you can squeeze out any air-bubbles. To remove it, just peel off and store somewhere flat until you are ready to re-apply it.
