Check your fuel gauge regularly: your vehicle will guzzle fuel on the Ring! Most cars will use more than a gallon per lap, and some use almost twice that!

As the names given to different petrol grades vary by country, it's safest to look for the octane rating. Ordinary unleaded is 95, while super unleaded is 98. Most green pumps will be clearly marked with one of these numbers.

The closest petrol station to the Ring is about 1/2 mile from the main entrance. Leaving the Ring:

  • Turn right at the roundabout
  • Turn right at the T-junction at the end of that road
  • Turn right at the T-junction with the main road (A258)
  • Petrol station is 200m on the left

Officially, they don't take cards below a certain limit, but in reality they do. They accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex.

The petrol station also sells Ring souveniers (stickers, caps, mini signs, etc) as well as a large collection of model cars.
