The cafe/restaurant at the Ring

There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Nurburg and Adenau. I won't tell you about my favourites as I often need to book for 20-30 hungry and thirsty Ringers and don't want you lot getting in there before me, but suffice it to say you're never going to go hungry in the area.

Both food & beer are cheap, and the portions tend to be generous.

For lunch, you usually have the choice of various meals in the restaurant, or Bratwurst & chips to eat in the car-park.

My favourite beer is Weissbier which translates loosely as 'blonde beer' or 'light beer'. This is fairly strong, so don't overdo it if you intend an early start the following morning. An unlikely-sounding but actually rather nice way of taking it easy is Cola-Weissen: a 50/50 mix of weissbier and Coke!
